Solid Portable or Fixed Panel Lightweight Solar Panel
I’m impressed with this 50 watt solar panel, both as a standalone unit and as part of a larger portable setup. My primary use case is with my Noovo Class B camper van, but I also plan to use it independently with a charge controller to charge a 12 volt, 100 amp hour lithium iron phosphate battery. That flexibility is a big part of why this panel works so well for me. The panel arrived very nicely packaged with foam and rigid protective panels, which inspired confidence right away. The included manual is excellent. It’s well written, easy to read, and clearly explains intended uses for cars, boats, ATVs, motorcycle powersports, and RV campers. It feels like a product designed for real-world mobile applications, not just a generic panel with minimal documentation. Build quality is excellent. The tempered glass looks clean and durable, the bus bars are well laid out, and the panel is lightweight without feeling fragile. MC4 connectors come preinstalled and plugged directly into my existing MC4 extension cables with no adapters or extra wiring required. I first tested the panel by itself, connected directly to my Victron MPPT charge controller. It is producing a strong, stable output, and the controller tracked it efficiently. Even on a cloudy day, I’m seeing around 40 watts, which is very respectable for a panel of this size. In full sun, I expect it to reach its rated 50 watts without issue. I then paralleled the 50 watt panel with my BougeRV 200 watt flexible panel as part of my portable solar setup for the van, since it their voltage are very closely matched. The MPPT has no trouble operating both panels together. My goal is to get close to 250 watts combined under good conditions. I also have rooftop panels, but I find the portable panels often perform better because I can angle them toward the sun instead of leaving them flat. Technically, the panel is rated at 50 watts with a Vmp of 18.0 volts, Voc of 21.6 volts, Imp of 2.77 amps, and Isc of 3.07 amps. It’s backed by a two year limited manufacturer warranty. Overall, this is a high quality, well documented panel that’s a great addition to a flexible, portable solar system.

Most honest review ever- I know nothing about this but I like it!!
I’m giving this solar panel 5 stars even though I know nothing about solar panels and haven’t really tried it out yet. I ordered this because I have a portable refrigerator to take on camping trips and it says it’s able to run off of solar power; so I thought, “Hey, why not?” This came packaged very well- with styrofoam panels along all the edges and on the screen itself; and plastic bumpers on the corners. Well protected is an understatement. It is lightweight, so it will work well for traveling; and the instructions are clear and easy to read. Speaking with my father in law (who knows SO much more about solar power than either I or my husband do!) and he states that this will work well for the refrigerator; as long as we don’t plan on running it constantly. We may have to get a second panel to actually run it off solar; but we’ll see. Let’s see- Amazon wants me to rate battery life… It doesn’t come with a battery, so I can’t do that lol Wattage- it’s 50 watts, so a smaller unit; but it may work for what we need it for! Value for the money- I guess less than $50 is a good deal for a solar panel… At least, according to my father in law; who said this should cost around $60 🤷🏼♀️ All in all, I’m happy with this so far- but will update if/when we are able to actually try it out!

Beautiful panel. worked well under led grow light, SHIPPING SUCKED
beautiful panel, larger than expected, didnt look at the measurements before I orderd. Does not matter installed into my 24 volt system to replace a old panel, I give 4 stars becouse I don't know how it is going to perform yet. when I checked the open circuit under my grow lights it was putting out right at a amp and 19 volts, keep in mind that is under a (500 watt from the wall) led grow light. That was enough for me to go ahead and put in line with my other panels. Will update today as it is 6am where I am, supposed to be cloudy today so should be a good test for her. Did have a heck of a time with getting it here seems to be the narrative anymore with amazon the two day free shipping turns into a week ordeal. This has taken place in my last 6 or 7 orders thinking about just dropping prime and paying the fee to get the stuff when it says instead of being lied to every time I order. MORE TO COME!

Initial impressions
We have a project planned for this solar panel, and we've not had a chance to start on it (due to the recent cold and heavy snows in our area in the last couple of weeks), so I don't have a feel for actual performance of these panels currently. I have, however, opened the package up and compared it to other solar panels we have for other things, such as the ultra cheap yard light panels, and a solar fan we purchased a while back for our shed. My initial impressions are that this is a very well built solar panel. The frame is solid, and the connections to the wiring are well protected and look to be assembled exceptionally well (I don't see any places where the connection seems thin or places where movement of the wires would cause breakage). I hadn't looked at the side of the panel when I ordered it, and it's rather large (in a good way). You will definitely need a decent amount of space to install (like on top of an RV if that is what you're using it for), and since this will be installed on our shed, it will go on the roof of it. Definitely not for small spaces or areas that need small footprint panels for visual appeal or traffic around it. Overall, I'm impressed with how well built this panel is. It feels like it should last a long time, and I'm excited for the warm weather so that we can get this set up!
