I was amazed how good this is
I wanted to try "Black Garlic" due to it's healing properties, cholesterol, blood sugar. Also I heard it tasted a lot better than regular garlic. When I first opened it I have to admit I was turned off by the green pepper aroma. I though for sure it was going to taste like it smelled. I was wrong. It had a great taste! The ingredients blended together just fine and complimented one another without overpowering the garlic. So far I used it on a hamburger and it was delicious. A little goes a long way so keep that in mind. Can't wait to try it on tons of other foods.

A bit stronger and flavorful then regular powdered garlic
It's a bit stronger than the regular stuff with a bit more umami coming thru.

Good on everything!
I first tried black garlic through a much more expensive, boutique brand (about the same price as this big container for a small jar--maybe 4 ounces). I really liked it and decided to look around. Thank goodness McCormick has this. I first bought the small McCormick jar to make sure I liked their version, and I do! This is not the black garlic salt, but just the black garlic powder (so, no salt). I've tried this on salmon (amazing! blends so well with salmon), and chicken, but by far my favorite is on a grilled steak to make a steak salad (or just eat the steak). I'm not good at describing the flavor, but it's earthy, mellow, and sort of sweet (compared to regular garlic powder)--I don't mean sugary sweet. Yeah, like I said, not good at describing the flavor, but it's good! If you like all things garlic, you will probably like this.
