I am very pleased with this set of infusers, but I have disposed of the box and there is no mark on the product itself to tell me the country of origin. The name Yoassi , the thoughtful design and the quality of manufacture suggest Japan to me, particularly as they are a tea-drinking people and take their tea seriously. The seller could no doubt tell you.

they are the best tea infusers I have ever had and I have had few different ones. Perfect for any loose leaf tea.

Q: Can this be used with a teapot

It would fit in a teapot provided that the hole in the teapot was wide enough to accommodate the base and narrower than the infuser's "wings". Mine measure 5 inches (12.5cm) from "wing to wing". You would have to infuse without the teapot lid, and when the tea was at the strength you wish, remove the infuser and replace the lid. Not a bad idea if you don't want want the tea to mash too much.
