I bought this for a friend’s baby shower, and it’s easily the best thing on their registry. It’s a total lifesaver for getting a newborn to sleep (and stay asleep!). The sounds are incredibly soothing and high-quality—not tinny at all. It effectively drowns out the rest of the household noise so the baby can nap peacefully. If you want to give the gift of sleep, this is it. The battery life is a beast, which is perfect because you can clip it right onto the stroller or car seat for naps on the go. This is a great alternative to using my cell data to listen to fireplace or ocean waves sounds all night. This is well-made, and has a great selection of sounds. We like the fireplace, waves, rain, music, crickets, and (the cats' favorite) birds the most. The sounds for babies or those who like lilting lullabies is a crowd-pleaser. The battery lasted a week with heavy, daily use before needing a charge. Charging was fast, too. It came with a sturdy shoelace-type hanger, and a sturdy plastic clip to hold/hang it, and is very portable. The buttons seem sturdy, and easily pushed. I'm a mom, and I wouldn't put this or anything in my baby's crib that has buttons. I'm also in law, and have done many PI (Personal Injury) cases, almost all ending sadly. Highly recommend.

Overall does the job. Love that it’s small and portable, does tune out a good amount of noise. Has helped my daughter sleep better and we’ve gotten use to it too. I will say wish it did have a longer charging cord. And in beginning it did last a longer without being consistently charged. Now does tend to die a bit sooner. But overall has been working great, easy to use and has a lot of different cool sounds.

I have been sleeping with a fan in my room for white noise since I was a teenager, recently I have noticed that the box fan I purchase no longer has the power to drown out the background noises. So I decided to try the dream egg and couldn't be happier. It is compact in size but is durable and has different levels which is perfect to put baby to sleep or for third shift workers to sleep though the day. It offers many different color options, great sound quality and also with a ring to hang it. An important option to me was the researchable battery because if the power goes out and it does quite frequently I would be left with no background noise. It has many sounds, something from everyone, natures, outdoor water sounds, waves, several fan sounds (my favorite) children's soothing music. I would recommend this to others and already have. A great purchase for a great price.

This noise machine has been great for my baby. We mostly listen to white noise, but the other options are really nice too. It's small enough that you can take it anywhere. We keep it on all night long, and the battery typically lasts a week. I love that it's rechargeable so I don't have to worry about small batteries with the baby.

I decided to get this as an alternative to the ceiling fan running this winter. I am pleased with the sound variety and quality (the thunderstorm actually sounds like it should), it charges fast and isn’t an intrusive size so it’s easy to place wherever I want it. I was pleasantly surprised by the very faint glow behind the buttons, making it easy to find and turn off when I get up for work in the dark. It will be great for travel too! It’s been a terrific purchase!

We purchased this sound machine for our baby who loves vaccum noise specifically and it works amazing. Very satisfied with it and it's such a nice colour (we got blue) Favorite features: Lock button so when your handling it you don't accidentally hit another sound options and wake your baby Night light/ glow in the dark buttons- makes it easier to tell where volume button and power is. Little ring that snaps open and closed so you can attach it to anywhere So many sound options and my baby also likes the "SHHHH" sound. Lasts 22 hours like they say! And when it's dieing it just slowly decreases the sound. Still works while charging Good size Goes quite loud Not to big and not heavy at all Cons: Only cons are the little ring to attach to things isn't easy to open/has limitations. That could be improved and the string it comes with I didn't bother with, it's cheap. Second con is it does make a high pitched noise when you've maxed out the volume and that wakes the baby. Finally this is a neutral point, it does take a bit of time to charge so just be mindful of that if you use it all night long! You don't want it cutting out in the middle of any sleep!

I bought it specially for the ahhh sound because I saw it in some of the reviews here. The reviews must have been mixed up cos there is no shhh sound. Too lazy to return. Other sounds doesn't work so well on my baby.
