I use this clutch on my DW 5000 series hi-stand. The stock clutch is great on its own, but this takes it to the next level. The way it clamps is simple but ingenious. Much sturdier than the stock clutch, and more precise.The top tension adjustment has a detent to keep it locked in place while the bottom tightens down all the way and stays lock (also has the detents).Felts and washers are attached, similar to the 9000 series cymbal stands. Much harder to lose under dark stage lights.I think the best part about this clutch is the fact that it has the nylon washer (also attached) between the top cymbal and the pull rod… no more risk of keyholes.Well worth the investment. It’s the last clutch you’ll ever need to buy.

Needed to get a little grease on the threads to function 100%.

Facilmente el clutch mas ajustable y confiable que he utilizado en mis 22 años de carrera, termino de golpe con las preocupaciones de que el top se desajustara o se soltara. Las almohadillas estan adheridas a la tuerca, por lo tanto es imposible perderlas, la tuerca como tal tiene pequeños topes que hacen que, una ves ajustado, el top no se desajuste en toda la sesion, la abrasadera es de tipo pinza, super heavy duty, una ves ajustada, no importa la fuerza con la que cierres los hats, nunca se soltara, por lo util que es vale cada centavo.
