Great table, good quality, bit fiddly to assemble
This review is for the outdoor version of the table (they sell an indoor one too). This is a great quality table that feels well built and designed (it's made in Germany). The fold up / fold down mechanism has locking bars to prevent accidentental operation and the wheels run smoothly when it's folded up. Its quite heavy but easy to move about. It comes with a cover, a net and a couple of basic bats and balls to get a casual player going as soon as its up. The cover is reasonable quality spun-plastic tarp but care needs to be taken not to snag and tear it on the edges of the table.Assembly is complex and there are parts that definately require two persons for safety reasons. The package is very heavy so care must be taken when opening up the box as its possible the table halves could fall over. The frame bars and table halves are in the same box as the small components which come in several plastic bags. These bags aren't marked and its not always obvious which of several similar parts should be used so it is necessary to refer to the parts notes on the first few pages and measure the screws and bolts to make sure the right ones are being used at the right stage.Read the instructions through first. There are some basic notes on each page then a series of drawings which are reasonably clear but occasionally confusing. Just follow the instructions and diagrams step-by-step and do not skip ahead or use guesswork.Take your time. It took me quite a while to get the table assembled as I made a couple of errors along the way after mis-reading one diagram and making an assumption about another. One thing to watch out for is to make sure the locking bars are assembled the right way around or the table will not unfold properly. The diagrams do show the correct orientation but I made the mistake of assuming that they were "mirrorred" on both sides of the table when they are not.A large flatblade screwdriver and two spanners are required (not supplied). On reflection, I wish I'd dug out my socket set as assembly would have been quicker. I instead used a pair of adjustable spanners which were not ideal. I recommend using a socket set if possible but in any case two spanners (or socket drivers) are required.I've attached a low-res picture to give an idea of what it looks like assembled and folded up.

A great, well made
A great, well made, sturdy table. It says 2 hours to put together which is about right but it's more like 1.5 hours 1 side then 30 minutes the other, where you just copy what you did the 1st time. The video is helpful but not great , as you never see the whole unit and which way up all the pieces are. The instructions are not as clear as they could be either, Kettler could learn a lot from IKEA! The bags are numbered but some of those pieces could have been better labelled too, maybe a bag for each side, it didn't need to be so complicated and if the central bar was just a placeholder while you build 1 side, why not explain that upfront. The packaging is top class, table is very well protected, corners, thick box, plastic covering too. I had ordered from a competitor slightly cheaper and had to return item as was damaged in transit. It would be very difficult to damage this one in transit and the 2 people delivery, which you can track and they phone ahead to confirm is really helpful, you can even pay £10 extra for a Saturday slot. All in all a very well made good quality item, shame it wasn't a bit clearer to put together.

Check youtube to assemble
This appears to be a great quality table and it arrived very promptly and was well packaged. The box itself was very heavy and its worth bearing this in mind when taking delivery (2 people). The assembly instructions were not easy to follow and four hours later (and I have put lots of things together) I still wasn't getting how the leg bars and locking mechanisms were supposed to be fitted. I then checked on YouTube and there are quite clear videos which show you how to do this and it went very well from there ([...]) although the techno music is irritating when you're trying to fiddle with the screws and follow instructions. As the table is big, it needs a fairly even ground for the 2 boards to be flat and it's a shame the leg supports don't have adjustable height screws. Otherwise I think it's really good value for the current price £295.

really flimsy !!
I am extremely disappointed. Bought it after having read all the raving reviews on Amazon. Given the price I thought this was of decent quality. Unfortunately not so. It's very flimsy and if put on uneven ground (speak: lawn!) the two sides do not form an equal level if you know what I mean. One side can be considerably lower than the other and the flimsy net doesn't help to keep both sides on the same level either. Unbelievable! This is made for outdoors and surely many people do put it on a lawn and not only on a smooth terrace. So if this is your intention do not get this product.Surprising actually as Kettler is generally a good quality firm but clearly here they didn't deliver. I am upset as I cannot send it back given the heavy weight and size.. PS the assembling takes a while (my husband took 3 hours) as others have already described.

This is an awesome table. Sturdy and able to remain outdoors
This is an awesome table. Sturdy and able to remain outdoors, taking the abuse of remaining outside. It maneuvers and sets up quite easily such that my 12 year old boys can do it themselves. I did purchase two covers and still (after more than 4 months of use) only on first one. The corners are the sensitive areas that were highlighted on previous comments, but I have not had any issues as long as tie down the cover and lock the table in place. Otherwise, it will catch the wind easily and either topple over or cover will fly off.Setup took awhile and definitely could use a second set of hands for lifting the boards into place and holding while securing.
