I love the bold blue
I love the bold blue, it was very thin and did need multiple coats so it wasn't see-through. However it did chip within 24 hours so not the longest wearing. The green I was neutral about, it was easy to apply and didn't chip even after a week. However I had applied it without a basecoat and it stained my nail. I even tried using straight acetone and there are still spots where it refuses to come off, so beware.

I Recommend all Julep products. You can't go wrong.
Beautiful pearlized colors. Julep are really long wearing. Especially if you use the oxygen bonding base coat. Recommend both of the Julep top coats too. Julep always have different colors than other companies, which I like.

Sea and Sky
Julep nail polish is one of the best polishes. It does not drop, the brush is made so that the polish glides on, it does not streak nor mess. It seems to me to be carefully made with colors that meets everyone's style. These two countries,IRS compliment each each other, and as my granddaughter showed me, she put one color on every other finger nail, and the opposite color on the others. It is quite attractive. This formulation is free of DBP, toluene, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, and camphor.I apply polish in thin layers over a base coat. To extend the life of my manicure, I start each layer by sealing free edges. Then I lightly brush nail polish across the edge and under the tip of each nail. I finish with a top coat. If needed I reapply every couple of days to keep my manicure looking fresh.Recommended. prisrob 10-01-16

Expensive and didn't dry hard
I bought these for the lovely colors, and the slim bottles that would fit well in my nail polish kit. (N.B.: they can be slim because they hold only .27oz/8ml versus the standard .5oz/14.7ml.) The Kayla (purple, aka "iris sheer with violet sheen") is indeed quite sheer. Opacity when applied alone required 4-5 coats, and when layered with nail vinyls required 2-3 coats to keep the other from showing through. Danielle (blue, or "cerulean duochrome") was opaque in 2-3 coats, and a lovely shade that is true to the pictures. The brushes are a good shape, flat and not too wide.My main problem with these polishes is the formulation. I used Orly Rubberized Bonder base coat, and applied thin layers of the Julep polishes with at least a few minutes' dry time between. When finished with Superchic Macro quick-dry topcoat (as in the pictures) it took a bit longer to dry than other polishes and stayed a bit softer, i.e. could be dented by contact with a hard edge, but acceptable. When I used the Julep polishes with no topcoat or with Essie Matte About You matte topcoat, they stayed soft even after several hours, and took imprints from my sheets overnight. Added in a stripe over other fully cured polish, Kayla made previous layers so soft that accidentally hitting it with another fingernail after 24 hours scraped the color down to the nail.
