SF Cable, 6 ft DB9 F/F Null Modem Cable RS232

We received this item from the seller in 3 days. Fast shipment. The item is great; works well and inexpensive. The seller Pansatpro is a wonderful seller to do business with and with fast shipping and excelent customer service. We are a novice and Pansat Pro helped us out on the phone step by step. Thanks. We were able to transfer our files easily.

This item is not a null modem cable. These are just regular pass through cables. Wish I read the reviews before ordering.

Pinout of my cable. 1-1, 2-3, 3-2, 4-4, 5-5, 6-6, 7-7, 8-8, 9-9. While it does work as a basic null modem cable it is not properly wired for full handshaking. I have ceased using this cable. Hopefully the other one i bought (not this one) will be correctly wired. In the mean time I might rewire this one since I have had it for over a year.

It does what it says it does, and is well-made enough to be visually excellent, but if you need one, this one does the job. label Null so later you know what you got.

Ordered 2 of these cables and neither were crossover. Ended up having to cut the cables and splice the RX and TX pins myself. Major aggravation as I did not have time to return these cables and find another vendor. Beware.

Works as advertised. I use it with a USB to Serial converter. No problems mating to other connectors and cables, and the screw locks engage without issue. The backshell is labeled as a null cable making it easy to identify.
