AMAZING Case! I love it!
Recently, I have just purchased a brand new 13-inch MacBook Pro with retina display. These computers as we all know run at very costly prices, but are sure to perform at their best while lasting for years. Because these computers are so expensive and you have to pay for it after a couple of paychecks one of the best things for these devices is protection. Of course, the cases in the Apple Store itself are ridiculously expensive, Amazon offered lots of great protective cases as well. One in particular that stood out to me was the Top Case brand. The Top Case is a great buy because it will protect your new computer to keep it lasting a long time, it will also allow you to express yourself and in addition it comes at a very reasonable price. One of Top Case’s greatest aspects is its protective design. The case offers very good protection that will save your computers life as well as your wallet from drops and scratches. The Top Case has a rubberized texture but is also a hard Snap-On case. The Top Case brand also has keyboard protection that keeps dust and any spilled liquids out of the key ducts and keeps your laptop in the best protection possible. The keyboard protection is silicone and sits on top of the keys as if nothing is there. The Top Case protection has been nothing but great since I have purchased it. It has allowed me to throw it into my backpack knowing that none of my books or any of my school supplies are going to scrape up my computer. Another reason why I would highly recommend the Top Case brand for your new laptop is because it allows you to express yourself. This brand in particular offers a variety of colors that you are able to chose from that best fits you. I, personally, am a big fan of the color orange. So of course once I saw that the Top Case brand offered different colors I knew that I had to have the orange case as well as keypad protection for my computer. Using these Snap-On cases also allows people to put stickers on their computer without ruining the actual quality of the computer itself. By putting them on the case instead of the actual laptop it will not leave sticky residue on the actual face of the computer. Of course, the best part of this case is the affordability of this product. Lots of the other brands, especially the Speck brand run at high costly prices. The Top Case is only $14.99 and free shipping. The speck Case runs for $49.95, which I do not understand because they are going to do the same thing; which is offer protection for your computer. Also, after spending so much money on the laptop itself the last thing people want is to have to spend so much more on protection for their devices. Since I am a poor college student, I was happy to not have to spend over $20 for a laptop case. Top Case is in fact one of the best buys that I have invested in for my computer. The case has been nothing but helpful and provided a great source of protection that I want for my computer. Top Case is THE BRAND and is one that I would buy something from again. They not only provided great service but their product has also been very protective, great for different styles, and come at a cheap price.

Low Price - Great Quality. Two things that almost never go together in real life.
For a $15 cover, this thing is pretty as well as well made. The outer body feels slightly soft to the touch. Its very silky smooth. When I first pulled it out of the package, I spent a good 30 seconds just rubbing it and feeling it. The installation is a no-brainer. You just press it on. There's no snaps to connect. I actually prefer it that way. Yes, it may come loose more easily without snaps, but it's really not that big of a deal; and after a day of using this thing, it hasn't come off once. It's semi-transparent, so you don't lose the shining apple logo on the back. That's a big deal, when you pay 12-13 hundred dollars for something, you want people to see the logo, haha. Plus, the way the logo shines through the material gives off kind of a cool glowing effect. There's a grid on the bottom of the computer for ventilation. And the bottom cover has little rubber feet.I'm grateful that it comes with a keyboard protector for free, however, in order to appreciate the keyboard protector, you have to understand that it is not meant for heavy use. It's meant for light, internet browsing, checking emails, updating statuses on Facebook, Twitter, etc.. If you have to do anything more than that, (i.e. write a paper, write a program(I'm a computer programmer), do anything that requires typing efficiency, you should probably just take it off for the time being and/or buy an expensive one that's more appropriate for heavy use. The primary reason it slows down typing and negatively impacts typing accuracy and efficiency is because it's basically a rubber mat laid on top of the keys. When you press down on a key, you are pressing into the mat which pushes up a slight barrier between the keys. This prevents your fingers from naturally sliding from one key to the next. Unless you're a pecker, this WILL get quite irritating really quickly. On the positive side, If you're like me, you eat and drink around your computer, so I noticed how much more comfortable I felt just having it on. Also, I was eating some crackers today and noticed some crumbs had fell into the grooves of the mat. I smiled and felt pleased with myself that these little cracker crumbs were looking for a home underneath my keyboard keys and weren't able to find one. Haha. I'm probably going to buy the more expensive $25 one from another company, because I want to keep it on and do heavy duty work too. But for a free item, you can't really complain too much. Plus it looks great. The fit is pitch perfect. I got the red cover and case, it looks really really cool! Finally, they give you a mouse pad for free. Strangely, in todays time i'm finding less and less use for an actual mouse, but I'm thankful they gave me something for free. I love it when company's give you something extra even when they don't have to. So, thanks TopCase. I will be shopping with you again!

Great Mac book case, mediocre keyboard guard
I have been using the hard case for over four months now and am satisfied with its quality, strength and grip. The case has a nice soft but firm feel which is nice to touch and look at. The Apple logo when lit is clearly visible through it.The keyboard guard that came with it is not good enough for regular use. I am unable to type comfortably with it and often have to press the keys too hard. I still use it when there are liquids nearby or I am outdoors, and I don't need to type much. It masks the keyboard light so is not good to use in the dark.

Demasiado opaca
El color es bonito pero muy opaco y no se ve el logo apple como en la foto. El teclado demasiado clarito, no se distinguen bien las teclas
