Amazing book a must read filled with so much vital information and references!!! Great refresher for established makeup artists, it's great to go back to basic and really hone your craft!

This book gives you everything you need if you know absolutely nothing about the makeup business. It gives a snapshot of the different areas of the makeup business to help you decide if you want to go into bridal, TV, film or the theater. Great Book!

Great present for someone who loves makeup. My daughter has done makeup for brides and proms. Very helpful information for yourself and on others.

This is a great book. Very few cover such a wide range of topics, which not really being makeup do apply to viewing a finished makeup. They even have a great chapter on air brush makeup, and this is the first time I've seen this.

This book stressed me out like I was in college again. The first half is really boring and talks about human anatomy, and how light bends colors...which is great information, but I really just wanted to learn how to do some cool makeup techniques. The second half of the book had some tricks and were fairly interesting. Probably a waste of my money, but I might look at it a few times.

I am enjoying this book, it seems to be very informational.. some of the facts seem to be a little mixed up like the law of color But overall its not a bad book, and you gain lots of knowledge from it, I would recommend it to any one wanting to become a makeup artist.

Great book, covers make -up for loads of different needs and uses. Industry standard lists; from models to SFX all included with clear instructions and diagrams. I really like that it also includes colour theory, and the etiquette of behaviour both on and off set. So many of the other books I've seen just show the 'How To' of make-up and SFX done by the author and ignores the learning needed to fully understand the art and hard work involved; this is not an easy 'glamourous' job, hard work, long hours in some very iffy conditions at times and the desire to get some life long learning are also involved and this book covers the hard work as well as the undoubted bonuses.
