Great cheap, basic mixer that has plenty of speed and power. It's your go to hand mixer.
I bought this hand mixer so I don't have to clean my stand mixer every time I want to make whipped cream. So far it hasn't let me down. It's pretty much exactly what I imagined when I purchased it. It has 5 analog settings with a simple slide switch that advances from speed 1 to speed 5 (fastest) and a button to release the beaters. It has a narrow profile so it doesn't take up too much space on the counter and the cord is designed to rotate and lock to the left or right so the mixer can be stood on end without too much trouble. At first, when I purchased this mixer I was underwhelmed by the fastest mixer speed, as some other reviewers have noted. I have come to realize after using it a few times, however, that it doesn't need to be faster. I don't even use it on the maximum setting and I get the job done just fine. I think for some reason we expect the beaters to rotate so fast that they blur together as they spin but in reality, that type of speed is not necessary. It works great, has plenty of power, and I plan to use it for as long as I can.

Excellent hand mixer
I purchased this mixer as a replacement for an ancient inexpensive mixer that my mom had bought me 30 years ago and ended up with attachments that weren't original but that my husband thought were better but hard to remove. I bought it because it was highly rated on America's Test Kitchen/Cook's Illustrated and was not disappointed. I've used it for making whipped cream and brownies, and it is a delight to use. I do like the "open" whisk attachments--much easier to clean! I do have to look carefully to see which whisk attachment goes in which hole (they are not identical), but I'm delighted with my new hand mixer. I bought the boysenberry color because it was the least expensive, and it is a gorgeous shade. Not sure why it's less expensive than some of the other colors.

Quiet, Lightweight, and Powerful
This is a great product! It is very quiet compared to our last hand mixer and way lighter. We've had it for several months now and have not had any issues. Works great for making mashed potatoes, deviled eggs, etc. It doesn't lose power in thick substances.

Reliable blender
An excellent hand blender! Very easy to hold and clean. I’ve used this blender for baking as well as making mashed potatoes. It is definitely up for the job. I purchased the eggplant-colored one and the color is exactly as pictured. Definite good bang for your buck.

Not too loud
I really liked the color of this hand-mixer. I wanted to buy a mixer to match my KitchenAid stand mixer and this was close enough for me. Works extremely well and is not overly loud- I mean it is a mixer so it's going to be noisy but it's not too loud that you can't hear your music or have a conversation while you mix. Thumbs up from me! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the fact that it is entirely plastic. I know that KitchenAid has hand-mixers that are made of metal and I thought this was one of those. I just really like the comfort of the metal ones, I feel like that would last longer. We shall see. UPDATE: I still really like this hand mixer but I've realized that it doesn't have as much power as I'd initially thought. It's slightly annoying because it slows down my progress. Still a good mixer but I wish it was more powerful or, at least, have the more powerful mixers available in a wider range of colors. Still a decent mixer but kind of slow going.

QUIET SPIN
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS KITCHENAID HAND MIXER & THE VARIETY OF COLORS TO CHOOSE FROM. I PURCHASED THE BOYSENBERRY AND AM PLEASED WITH THE COLOR-TRUE TO COLOR AS PICTURED. THE MOTOR IS QUIET AND LOW SPEED SELECTION DOES NOT SEND THE FOOD AIRBORNE LIKE THE CUISINART I PREVIOUSLY OWNED. I MAINLY USE A HAND MIXER FOR COOKIE DOUGH AND OTHER LIGHT BATTERS SO WAS NOT IN NEED OF ANYTHING FANCY. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

Good Mixer
Just what i needed to whip up a batch of waffles. Easy to clean and enough power for even tougher jobs.

Just right
I'm not mixing cement, nothing crazy, just cake mix and such so this is just right. Works well and is pretty as can be. The motor is holding up as it should. The beaters are not the thick ones you'll find in a bigger power mixer, they're not meant to be mixing super dense ingredients. If you want to beat up some eggs, some cake mix, biscuit mix and such this'll do the trick.

I recently bought the KitchenAid 9-Speed mixer and had issues with it vibrating due to unbalanced beaters. The problem appeared to come from the chassis that holds the beaters into the machine. I exchanged it for another brand new 9-speed KitchenAid mixer - exact same problem. Vibration. I returned the mixer but then saw this 5-speed mixer on sale. I wondered if I would have the same issue and did not! The 5-speed mixer works wonderfully. Last night was a real test when the gingerbread cookie dough that has been known to break mixers, gave this 5-speed mixer no trouble at all. There is no vibration, the low speed is adequate enough for not making a mess of flour all over your cupboard. The high speed is good enough to foam eggs, make meringue, or whip cream. Last night I made cookies, a cake, and squares for the Christmas party at work. All successful! I also love the boysenberry colour of this mixer. It looks so attractive. I bought one of the KitchenAid stand mixers 10 years ago. I do not use it often because most of the time a hand mixer gets the job done with less fuss. I totally would recommend this mixer to my friends.

I bought this for use with smaller portions, and it works well. The speed doesn't go up too much, but I have a stand mixer as well so it isn't too big of a deal. I wouldn't recommend it as the main/only mixer if you use it a lot!

Love this hand mixer! The first one I got had some issues with the rejecting buttons (the one that takes out the mixer), but Amazon exchanged them for me without any questions. Now the one I have works perfectly, I've used it for cookie & cake doughs, meringues, light mixtures.
