This summer, I got back into running, and started off wearing my normal tight-whitey briefs for the necessary support under my running shorts. Although this was fine for shorter distances or cooler temperatures, as my runs lengthened and temperatures rose, the soggy briefs started chafing in the groin/upper thigh area and made running intolerable. I bought a pair of these Boxerjocks at a local sports store on the recommendation of a friend and tested them on a longer run. I was astonished to find that not only did these provide the necessary level of support I require, but the length and material of the Boxerjocks prevented any/all chafing on my inner thigh. I immediately went out and bought 3 more pairs to keep me prepared for my runs, but one added benefit of the material for these is they dry incredibly quickly and if pressed, I can hang a pair up to dry and wear them again the next day with no discomfort and no odor (I normally don't do this, but I have had to at times, especially on trips.) I am a boxer-brief wearer on a day-to-day basis, and these could easily be used for everyday underwear. I'm slowly building my inventory by buying pairs on sale wherever I can and ditching the cotton boxer-briefs. My oldest pair of these is about 6 months old but I see nothing that appears like wear-and-tear and expect them to last for quite some time to come. As for fit - I am 5'8", 185 lbs, and a 33-34 waist. I wear the size Large, 6" length of these and they fit fine around the waist without being too tight (I do see a slight elastic impression around my waist immediately after taking them off, but I'd rather this than an XL that I'm constantly hitching up). I like to slightly "tuck" a little of the legs up at the crotch so there isn't any gap between my thigh and "the boys" and when I do so the boxerjocks come down to just above mid-thigh. They hide (barely) underneath modern running shorts but would stick out a little on skimpy running shorts. All of mine are black though, so it isn't noticeable at all even if your shorts were to ride up for a bit. The boxerjocks do not ride up or bunch at all when I'm wearing them. These are great for trips and travelling and keep me cooler than cotton boxer-briefs. I would recommend these to anyone who needs something to keep their legs and groin from chafing, especially if you tend to sweat in that area. This is the only product I'll wear during the summer now, and definitely the only one I'll wear under my shorts for exercising.

So I'm gonna start off with a bit of an intro to let you know what I'm comparing to in the first paragraph, skip to the second for straight talk about these boxers in particular. So I've been wearing boxer briefs for years now, mostly Hanes and Fruit of the Loom. They're awesome for me because I'm active, they provide better support than regular boxers but also much more comfortable than regular briefs. The Hanes and Fruit of the Loom wear out after about a year, they lose their shape, color, the waist band stretches, etc. So finally I was like "I'm gonna invest in some higher end ones and see why they cost so much." I found out they cost so much because they're awesome. First I got the Kenneth Cole ones (not the 100% cotton) and they felt like clouds, and were very comfortable with awesome support and room in the groin area. Wore them for 6 months with not a single complaint or change in them and decided to buy two more pairs, but different kinds. So I bought these, and a pair of Calvin Klein micro modals... The Under Armour boxer briefs are pretty nice. They're nice and stretchy with strong support for your butt and legs but I definitely would appreciate more room in the crotch area (the boys keep feeling squeezed). Also the material feels like the Nike running shirts that feel like silky paper (if that makes any sense). Like they're nice but also have an odd texture to them. Besides that I love the length, and they are great at wicking moisture which is good especially because I work out 5 days a week between classes. I'd recommend these to anyone and everyone, but also if you have that extra $5 I'd go with Kenneth Cole or Calvin Klein (not 100% cotton though, go for the ones with elastane and/or polyester and what not).

I still have two pair of original black Under Armor and they still fit great. More recently I purchased a pair of the white and the black/red, and they are cut differently and fit differently. I'm tall and high waisted, and the newer style ride up in the inseam which is very uncomfortable. The newer ones seem to be less generously cut.

My son who was deployed to Afghanistan in the Army turned me on to these underwear. They are not your typical underarmour underpants. There is no "gap" in the crotch (like all the others) as these are form fitted to hold your package. The package area has an access port for ease of going to the bathroom (If you already wear other underarmour underpants, you now have no more undoing your belt and dropping your underpants to pee) and, it is made of a special soft ventilated material. There are _no seams_ that cause irritation. These are Maximum comfort and it wicks away the heat and moisture. I work outside here in the south and in a matter of minutes, my cotton underwear are soaking wet with sweat which as you know, will cause chaffing if you don't change out to dry underwear. I am a convert! I will not wear anything else again. As for someone's comment on small sizing, I wear a 42/44 and ordered that size which fit just fine. If you are older like me and have a "dunlap" then NO, the elastic waistband won't fit your belly. If that describes you, then just roll the waist band down one time so that it fits on your hips. The comfortable snug fit will keep them in place. I never thought I'd spend 20 dollars each for underwear but after trying one pair, I quickly ordered 6 more!

I got my original sets of these during deployment to Iraq in 2005/2006. Not only have they proven comfortable in hot weather, but they are extremely durable. My original sets are just starting to wear out after eight years. i bought these as replacements. Try getting anywhere near that durability and comfort with cotton. I ditched my cotton when I got back. My main complaint is that I am rather conservative and do not aprreciate the flashy colored logos on the current versions. It should be noted that the Army stopped issuing these because the material melts at about 800 degrees which was apparently a problem for the surgeons treating soldiers burned in IED attacks. My take is that the moisture wicking of the underarmour material provides protection from heat stroke (to which everyone in Iraq was exposed on a daily basis) which outweighs the far less common fire risk. If someone is exposed to enough heat to melt the fabric, I suspect the melted material would be a minor component of his problems.

I bought a size larger than I normally wear, knowing that Under Armour sizes tend to run REALLY small. There's TWO PROBLEMS with this product… it's neither boxers, nor a jock! There's nothing resembling a jock in this product, other than some extra puffiness in the crotch area. If you were looking for anything close to a sports jock (or support), forget it. Secondly, the thigh-material is abnormally tight! I bought an XL, normally wear a Med or Large, and these are too tight for me.

I have worn every type of underwear. this includes briefs, boxers, boxer breifs, or bikini to nothing at all. So far i rate this underwear high because it helps with all the sweat on a hard day if you work outside like me. it fits like a boxer brief but breathes much better than cotton underwear. i live in florida and cotton underwear just turns into a soaked mess. these keep your boys happy as well with support, although i wish the little ball pouch was a little bigger. if you ask me socks and underwear are something you are supposed to buy quality, so the price doesnt bother me. shipment arrived super fast. amazon does play games.

I've had one pair of these for years - they're probably the most comfortable pair of boxer briefs I've ever worn. Since I regularly commute by bike I wanted a few more pairs. While I was a little reticent to purchase them after seeing a few reviews claiming that the sizing was off, I went ahead and ordered mediums (my normal size) and the sizing is perfect. I'm about 6' 170lbs, usually a 31" or 32" waist.
