Unfazed by the scientific age, pashmina shawls are hand spun the same way it has been done for centuries. The hairs are gathered from the Himalayan goat called Hircus, which lives at high altitudes, 12 to 14000 feet in the mountains. The Pashmina is gathered by hand, stored and combed by nomadic herders. The threads are hand woven on hand looms over a silk wrap, which gives the fabric resilience. Once the fabric is loomed, each piece is hand dyed in open vats. Afterwards it is given to the different craftsmen for hand-embroidery, beading and /or printing. They are very soft and luxurious in feel. These shawls are woven from the best quality of Pashmina and Silk. These shawls can be worn as a wrap or a scarf. The size is 80 inches long and 36 inches wide and each shawl is finished with 2 or 2.5 inches long tassels. The fabric comprises of approximately 70% Pashmina and other fiber and 30% Silk ,. The combination of pashmina and silk makes the fabric versatile and resonating with color. The shawls are hand loomed in Nepal and India and are offered in a wide selection of vibrant colors. We recommend dry cleaning.

Big but itchy and thin
Not very many of these shawls are this wide (it's a skimpy 36 inches) So i'll keep it. It does itch just a little and is not as soft as the really expensive pashmina, in case you think that is what you are going to get. The color ( raspberry) was very close to what appeared on my screen.

Very pretty and practical at a good price
This is my third one from this seller and still very happy with this product for price. I want even more colors. I have the Raspberry, Aqua/ Turquoise and Burgundy. I think I will get Navy and Plum next. I fold one up in my bag when I travel for chilly planes. I take it with me to the movies in the summer when they blast the AC. I take to restaurants in the summer for the same reason. In the winter, I use them as mufflers though they are wide for that. I hang up in the closet and wrinkles fall out. I am taking two with me to Europe next trip. I think they would make a nice gift for any lady.

I have ordered an AMETHYST PASHMINA SHAWL I have got it deferent color, the courier has charged an extra amount… after the shawl was so cheap quality friends please don’t buy it

Great size so I bought several more
As a plus sized woman, I cannot wear a scarf that is normal sized. These are big enough to be comfortable. I bought about seven of them in different colors after trying the vanilla one to be sure I liked it. The shawl is very soft, which is what I wanted. If you want a shawl that is just right, please buy several because one is just not enough.

I TOUGHT IT WAS A CASHMERE PASHMINA AND IT IS NOT CASHMERE. IT IS WOOL!!!!. THE BRAND NAME IS CASHMERE BUT IT IS WOOL. I DONT KNOW WHY YOU ADVERTIZE THIS AS CASHMERE.... VERY DISSAPOINTED!!!!!

Beautiful!
I got the crimson red to go with my wedding dress and it looked lovely. It was soft, the color was exactly what I expected and the quality appears to be very good.
