I had to replace the touch screen on one of my phones. It required i take the phone completely apart from back to front. I don't know if all phones are like this but because of the way it was put together I had to go through ever single part of the phone before I finally got to the screen. I had to uninstall the camera, speakers, ect. instead of just taking the screen off the top and putting another one on. These tools worked and I had everything I needed for every single piece of the phone. Had it been any other part of the phone that needed replacing I would be confident I would be able to fix it with this here tool set!TIP:If you're also fixing your phone for the first time i recommend you watch the whole tutorial before you do anything to make sure you're getting everything you need. To see all the tools that will be needed. Although these tools could do everything, I decided to replace some double sided tape in the phone that keeps dust out from getting under the screen after its been put back together. It stalled the whole project for about a week and had my phone laying on my desk un-assembled because i needed to wait for this tape. I ended up thinking I lost a the camera and ordered a new one too. Understand everything you need so you can do it all in one sitting

Not high quality. Only the small screw driver bit was all that I could really use out of this set. The blue plastic stick bent when trying to use it to separate the phone in half like videos showed - so I ended up using my fingernails. The rest of the tools may come in handy in future so I kept it as was $10 and not a killer on price - could have just used an eyeglass screwdriver and my fingernail. I also used a magnifying glasses headband. My situation was - I followed YouTube videos to replace an internal speaker and USB port on my Samsung Galaxy S4. But it didn't work. But I don't know if it was due to my phone having a motherboard issue or the new device didn't work. So I couldn't say those pieces were bad or not - unknown. My Samsung Galaxy S4 went thru the washer. There was water inside when I opened it. I put it in rice for 24 hours, then vacummed it out. The battery would last half the amount of time, the speakerphone no longer worked which meant I got no phone/text noise. Camera took a day to return to normal but everything else seemed to work. I read about this product and watched videos and gave it a shot. I didn't return it as it was so cheap. I replaced this with the USB charging port and buzzer loud speaker as well and bought this toolset. So basically $20 when all added up down the drain. Ended up getting a new phone which is much more $30 a month for 2 years - Samsung Note 4 - it's too big for holding, but awesome in every other way).

This is a great kit! Has all of the precision screwdrivers one could want for repairing cell phones. Two years later they are still working just fine.This kit will allow you to work on just about every cell phone from the pentelobe iPhone screws to some of the smallest HTC torque screws! One of my favorite aspects is that on the top it turns so you don't have to hold the driver awkwardly in your hand to keep a constant rotation. Put your palm on top and screw away!The plastic pry tools are just that the one time use pry tools that come in most DIY repair kits.My only gripe and hence deduction of a star is the quality of the tweezers and scalpel. The tweezers barely grip the tiny screws at all much less the even smaller iPhone ones. I ended up buying a separate set of tweezers that do the job well. Other than that this is an awesome set!

This kit comes with everything I imagine you would ever need to repair electronics and then some. I bought it just for the plastic tools and teeny tiny screwdriver so I could fix my daughter's cell phone with a part I also purchased on Amazon, which by the way, went great. I liked that the screwdriver was magnetized so those teeny tiny screws were much easier to deal with. The plastic tools worked great for pulling her phone apart without damaging anything. I was terrified of breaking her screen, maybe a little bit irrationally, but still. When I was finished, every snapped right back together as it should, with no broken pieces. I have no idea what I am going to do with this set now, I guess give it to my husband to throw in his wheelie tool cart for odd sized screws and such. Maybe I'll just start randomly taking electronics apart for fun? Whatever, the price was right and this set is awesome.

First of all, this is a cheap tool set, and in general, you get what you pay for. I will add that the quality of the screwdrivers exceeded my expectations in terms of function and quality. The tweezers and pry tools were of lesser quality, but functional for repairing my phone. I can probably get one, maybe two more uses out of the plastic pry tools before they are toast. The tweezers were ok for what I needed, but these are not precision ground instruments, nor was I expecting them to be for the price. The screw drivers are the standout items here. The tips are magnetic, nice! The tips fit their corresponding sized screws accurately, most drivers in this price range will have poorly machined tips and won't fit the screws. Also, they have the spinning tops to aid in working with tiny, precision pieces. Looking for a budget set to repair the occasional phone or small electronic device? Get this set. It's worth it just for the screwdrivers.

I needed an iPhone pentalobe driver to repair a family members iPhone 4. You will need this driver for iPhone 4, 4s, 5 and 5s. Possibly for older ones as well but I am not sure.I had to choose from kits that would have just barely what I needed and cost around $5 or this kit which had a ton of tools I wouldn't need for that job but might need for other things.I am very glad I bought the kit because all the tools are of good (not great) quality and will be very useful for many projects. The increased quality in just the tools needed for repairing the iPhone are enough to warrant paying $10 for this over the normal $5 iPhone kits but with the addition of the other fine quality tools it really just makes it a no brainer if you don't already have tools like this.I am sure anyone who buys this will not be dissatisfied.
