i was looking for a fire hd case and since my favorite brand - Gumdrop hadnt already come out with an HD edition, i decided to take my chance on this one. skeptical bc it ships from china but i did it anyway...there's nothing out there and i didnt want to spend $60 on an otterbox when the kindle only cost me $150.it is as described, except not the quality of gumdrop or otterbox..somehow i feel like the material is 'cheaper' but it does the trick. i give it 4.5 stars because the part that you flip open to plug the charging cord in is super flimsy. the cut out is not quite right. if my son figures how to work that part he'd tear it right off. for now, he doesnt know it exists so we are okay for now. if he tears that part off (the only part that i have issues with - its the only part you can tell it's a cheap imitation of the orig.), we'd have to replace the whole thing in the chance it got wet, my kindle would be ruined.Shipping took about a week or so, but it arrived in a 'factory' sealed box.great buy, considering my options.

I ordered this case because it had fantastic reviews. But I am having some issues..First I can't get screen protector part to snap all the way on. I don't know if this is going to impact the protection of my kindle but I shouldn't have this issue.Second, when we touch the screen it leaves these marks between the case and kindle, while this doesn't hinder being able to see anything it's a pain and makes things fuzzy.Overall I like it, but I would like it more if it would snap on and didn't mess up the picture.

PEOPLE The case will only fit Kindle Fire HD PREVIOUS GENERATION!!!!!! It fits perfectly! The rubber door for the charging port in VERY flimsy i ripped it some while putting it on the kindle but over all this is the BEST case for it. There is no otter box for this device :( so this is the next best thing

The product seems very durable, but it doesn't seem that it was made for the kindle fire. There are no openings for power button, charger, or volume so we are constantly prying it out of the case to help our kids with those issues.

This item was cool my only problem was it wouldn't comfortably click on one end but it still worked enough for us to feel that our son's kindle was secure

I was so impressed with the way this fit our Kindle!! It's like a glove!! I kept inspecting over and over to find a spot where the openings didn't line up perfectly.... and didn't find any!! This is perfect for my 6 year old's Kindle. Keeps it safe and snug!

It makes the screen look funny. It is sturdy though, so it has that going for it.

I purchased this for my three year old. I really do like it. The rubber is starting to rip where you open it to charge it but other than that it is perfect.
