Perfect for me
I purchased this gun to use for running home defense scenarios. The price was right. Rubber guns and "snap caps" were way to expensive, and I really didn't want to use my real gun for this. The Airsoft gun has a nice weight and size. It doesn't seem fragile like some of these reviews state, but I am not going to be using it in the same way as some people would. I think it might not hold up to rough kid play, or competitive shooting. I will be using it to run imaginary home invasion scenarios and the fact that it actually "racks" a round and shoots is just icing on the cake. The slow pellet speed is a plus for me since I will be shooting it in the house. I give it five stars!

GREAT - Looks just like a real gun
Works Great, looks awesome and perfect for COSPLAY or to have fun in your backyard shooting at targets. Accuracy may vary. It is an Airsoft Pistol so I would give a warning that if you buy this for your kids to please provide them with eye protection and only let them play in the backyard (although I do recommend adult supervision). Yes it is a toy and it is made of plastic but it looks like a real gun and kids sometimes can't distinguish between the two. It looks like a real gun. So I highly recommend you do not run around outside or in public areas waving this because you might get shot (SERIOUSLY). I know it has a red tip but the tip isn't very visible and all anyone will see is the gun! Please, please, please, please DO NOT run around in public with this because you will get shot. The police have a tendency to shoot first and ask questions later when they see a gun. A Police Officer has to make a decision in seconds and the red tip is not going to save you at all. In stressful situations people get tunnel vision. It happens to all of us.

A Cheap, Weak Gun
(This Is Edmund's Son) I am a inexperienced backyard air softer. I bought two of these guns hoping to have fun little matches with these. When I opened the box I found the gun, a small package of ammo, and a small instruction paper. After loading the gun with the prepackaged ammo I discovered that this gun fires a mere couple of feet, and than the bb will plum it back down. If you are interested in having actually fights, than this gun is definitely not for you. I do suggest that this small gun be used as a prop for movies, or other things. The gun is easy to load, and cock. After playing around with this gun I came to realize that the gun would no longer hold the magazine. I would have to hold it in with my pinky, ensuring it wouldn't fall out. This little gun would be great for teaching little ones the, or starting off kids that are of small age. I think the gun looks cool, but i don't recommend it IF you are going to use it for battles. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- I bought a second one of these babies. Surprisingly the second one actually shots fairly well. I guess it depends on the luck of the draw. If you are going to buy one of these, i suggest buying a couple.

Arrived in terrible condition.
I play professional airsoft and was looking at this style of handguns to compliment my loadout. I got this gun to see how it'd feel in my hands and do a bit of target shooting and for 50ยข hey not much money wasted right? Wrong, when it arrived, it was automatically worthless, the slide was broken in half along the connection of the two pieces of the slide, I fixed that up (for the time being) with electrical tape. Then the fun part, I cocked it and aimed at a zombie poster, when the spring depressurized, not only did the bb just fall out of the barrel, the slide (despite the electrical tape) flew off exposing the cheap plastic that it was made of and the spring fell out!! What a hassle! I put it back together and tried again, this time (by some divine intervention!) the slide broke in half, hotdog style. I guess this is what they mean by "You get what you pay for!" Of course I did get it from Hitguns, want my professional airsofter advice? Either pay more for a better pistol, or avoid Hitguns like the PLAGUE!!! It is NOT worth it. Not even for cosmetic look or feel.

Loved the guns!
I received these super fast, and loved them as soon as I opened the boxes! I will say that these are not for "rough housing." When I say that, what I really mean is drunk people. These were part of my Lara Croft costume and while they looked really good, they didn't withstand all the people trying to yank them out of my hands as I was shooting them ;) But for the $12 that I spent on them, I'm not too mad that they broke before the end of the night. Might need to buy some again because I will be dressing up as Lara Croft in the future!

M9 Airsoft Gun Pistol hand gun
The toy guns were much nicer than the cost of the item ($3). One broke easily when we dropped it (quite a far distance), but that was no fault of the item. It still works great as a halloween prop which was it's intended purpose. One thing to note is these look very realistic (even with the orange tip), and they come with a warning about taking them outside in public and how it can be easily mistaken for a real gun. The item was shipped quickly, there was good communication from seller, and I would buy from them seller again.

Exactly What to expect for price
Gun looks Good solid plastic and realistic looking(besides orange tip) Not really bought to be shot as a 2 buck gun can never be expected to shoot well. As a costume piece or a pretend toy its perfect. If you want a gun to shoot something at least spend more then 20 dollars as this is purely a prop piece that dribbles out pellets and clicks. But as I said money talks and this is awesome for the pocket change.

Disgustingly Fragile Internals
I ordered around a total of 5 of these guns and they all broke internally on a lifespan from 1 day to 3 days each. The external is fairly sturdy. Its weak, and is meant to be a children's toy. The slide has a lot of resistance. The externals lasts for quite a while, but the internals. In each of my 5 P99's. All of them were internally broken. Conclusion: Fun to play with. Recommended for chlidren. Its cheap, except the shipping on Amazon is monstrous for such a weak gun. Its very fragile on the inside and bound to break in a couple of days. Iron sights are useless as this gun has a very low range and catastrophically low accuracy.
