Pinkalicious and the Perfect Present (I Can Read Level 1)

My daughter loves all the Pinkalicious books and this one is just as awesome as the rest. It's a shorter story with only 32 pages but a cute story about Pinkalicious and her mom that are out for a bike ride and find a yard sale. She is given two dollars to buy anything in the yard sale and she uses it to find a Pinkatastic gift for her mom. It would be a cute Mother's day gift.

On the spectrum of Pinkalicious books (we have almost all of them and trust me when I say some are not great, some are fantastic, and there are many in between), this is a great one. Unlike less than wonderful behavior in some books, Pinkalicious is very thoughtful and sweet in this one, spending her money on a gift for her mother instead of buying something for herself. Love the unselfish behavior of Pinkalicious in this one, so I would definitely recommend it!

All of the Pinkalicious reads are great!! :) This one is especially good as it touches on the sweet nature of a mommy/daughter relationship and thinking of others.

This sweet story allows children to witness the act of putting another person’s interests before their own. Moreover, it illustrates how rewarding this behavior is for the giver as well as the receiver. The author manages to pull this off without coming across as didactic.

This little book was just perfect for the grand daughter. Very esy to read for her age and she liked the pictures as well.

I always love the Pinkalicious books. This one does not disappoint. The art work is adorable and the story is engaging.

As always, this was another enjoyable read from Pinkalicious. These books are my kids' favorites, so we're collecting them all.

Pinkalicious is so cute and we love the books. They're always on our reading list.
