This pan is great; I was looked for a healthier way of cooking things I like but had never used ceramic cookware before. I always looked at the cookware in stores, but I always thought it looked fragile and wouldn't hold up long for the price so I was a little skeptical. I was going to invest in an entire cooking set but I saw this pan for a good price, so I bought it just to try it out. Since I knew I would use this pan for oatmeal and rice, I went ahead and bought it. It didn't disappoint at all, in fact, I love the pan. Now you have to be smart with the pan and take care of it. You will probably ruin it with excessive heat, running a hot pan under tap water before it has cooled off, using wrong utensils, using a scratch pad to it. All these things are unnecessary because the heating of the pan takes so little flame with my gas stove; I almost cannot set the flame low enough and washing this thing is a breeze. I was told that I basically have no ligaments in my wrist so the bones are just floating wherever they want to go so sometimes my wrist and hand get pretty painful but this thing cleans out with just a sponge. I actually took my hand and brushed out the oatmeal after it dried. After the kids leave the nest, I plan to buy myself a whole set. Teenagers will be teenagers and they are pretty careless; I want to make sure when I do purchase a set that they are cooked with and cared for by me and me alone. If you take great care of this product, you will not regret the purchase.

Wow! This WearEver covered sauce pan way surpassed my expectations. I've used it a lot and it works great. I'm following the directions that came with the pan. It takes a little longer to, for example, boil water but, once it's boiling, I turn the heat way down and it keeps right on boiling and my pasta turns out great. I do not spray the pan and I let the pan cool off before washing. I just swish my dish cloth all over inside and outside and it's clean. The cover handle does not get too hot to handle and very easy to see what's cooking. The pan handle is also excellent. I wasn't concerned about the color but it's a very nice color. I think this pan will last a long time if I continue to not use high heat and use care with cleaning. I highly recommend this pan and the price is great.I also have the matching 2 1/2 covered skillet which I also really love, use a lot and recommend. Now, if they only made a 7" or 8" covered skillet, I'd purchase that and I'd be set or life.

I originally bought the WearEver stir fry pan and waited a few months to see how it would hold up; the stir fry pan held up pretty well so I decided to get this pot. I have to share that these are the kinds of pots that you must use with low-heat. Also, although these are supposed to be dishwasher safe I would not put them in the dishwasher because I did that with the WearEver stir fry pan and it deteriorated the quality of the non-stick a little bit (I have to add a little bit of butter or oil to the pan when I use it after putting it in the dishwasher). The best thing about this pot is how easy it is to use: everything cooks evenly and the handle stays cool when you're cooking. One of my favorite things (as someone who absolutely hates to wash dishes) is that the WearEver ceramic pots/pans are super easy to clean.

Wow, this saucepan is awesome. I had never heard of this brand, but decided to try it based on other reviews. It is so easy to cook, and clean. It warms up very quickly, and you don't have to use heat higher than medium or medium high. Cleaning is a breeze!!! Food comes off so easy, I can't believe it! I also like how the white ceramic coating makes it easy to see the food. And the color and shape and size is great too. Handle has a nice cool grip. And the handle makes it easy to hold the pan (great grip!) even with wet hands. I will be buying the entire set!!!

I really liked these pots when I purchased them. (bought 2) I seasoned them according to the instructions and as with all my cook wear, I never use anything other than rubber utensils so they do not get scratched. I also never cook or reheat food above medium temperature with the exception of boiling water. I really like the design of the pots as far as the handles and lid are concerned. Also like the color which is what drew me to them initially. Unfortunately both pots have already lost their nonstick properties and everything now sticks to them even on low heat. You could actually see that the coating on the pans was wearing thinner after each use over the past month. I do not expect a pan in this price range to last for 5 or more years since most items are cheaply made over seas now. I would however like to get a minimum of a year out of a pot or pan for 25-30 dollars.I agree with another reviewer here who stated that people should wait 3-6 months before posting a review on an item like this or take the time to go back and update their review when the item turns out to be poor.

If I had written this review the first few months we owned the pan, it would have received five stars. Its a fabulous pan-looks good, cooks well, and is non-stick, and the price is also unbeatable. I also like that even when it starts to peel, it does not contain bad chemicals that it is leaching into the food. That said, I am still replacing it now that it has started to peel, just to be safe.

This is my favorite sauce pan. Hands down. It heats evenly, cooks great, and cleans even easier. The lid is vented and the rubber on the handle / lid makes for a sure grip and no burns. I just wish this came in a size smaller and a size bigger because I would buy those as well. After a year of near weekly use it still looks new!

I have several WearEver Ceramics pans now. They are simply the best ever. The food doesn't stick to the pan making for easy clean-up. With these pans, food is easier to prepare as well. Less oils needed and you don't have food lingering on the edges. They cook evenly and are very well constructed. I bought this for a gift for my elderly mother. She was concerned at first about the weight until she used it. She has fallen in love with it and swears it is the best thing invented for the kitchen since plug-in refrigerators. 5 Stars is not enough for this product.
