This product is soft and comfortable, though it's very puffy at first, so a light dog might feel as though they are going to fall off at first. I sat on the one we got for our Chihuahua a little bit, so it flattened out on top. The cover comes off for washing, but it is not waterproof, so if that's a concern, you might want to get a waterproof pillow cover for underneath. The bed is quite thick, and provides ample comfort on hard floors. Both of my dog love them.

It seems to be well made. It is VERY plush, very thick, very soft. I can't comment on ease of cleaning or durability as I've only had the item for a week. The item description says the bed is 3" thick or 3" tall. The bed I received was 8 - 9" thick. It's taken a week to coax the dogs to lay on it. Now that they seem to understand it's a bed for them, it's getting more use and they seemed to have accepted and enjoy it. I think the thickness intimidated or confused them. Their previous beds, which saw years of use were about 2" thick

The cover is very nice but you will need to add some stuffing because there is not really any of that. I was pretty disappointed but I just opened up an old pillow and added that stuffing to it.

I want to preface by saying I ordered mine "used/like new", & only paid around $11. I wasn't expecting a firm supportive mattress (thanks to other reviewers), but it suited our needs perfectly. Our aging minpin, Coopy, is down to 17 lbs, so it's plenty thick, & supportive for him. The top is plush, & the cover is easily removed. It would be easy to add foam, or a pillow to increase thicknesses or firmness, which is less bothersome at $11 than $20. If your dog, or cat is large, or needs the support, this may not be the best choice, but at the same time, it's squishiness makes it more versatile than a stiffer, more structured bed, allowing it to fit into small spaces. A decent product if it suits your needs. Coopy approves.

If you step on them it is like stepping on a very thin layers of ultra slippery materials that instantly slide away/over one other. You will likely lose you balance and fall if you do step on them or wrench your back trying to save yourself. I wish I had sent them back right away. These were intended to be a top layer for very thick high quality ortho beds. The dogs like to dig at their beds before curling up and these would be easier (probably) to clean and repair than the primary beds. As it was.. they kind of puffed up, and walking on them was unstable so the dogs avoided them entirely and the beds have been used instead as bottom layer beds just to add cush to other layers of lower quality beds. I really can't attest to softness and durability and ease of cleaning. I just didn't get what I thought I was getting and really didn't enjoy the process of searching for so long than dealing then being very disappointed when they got here.

Very nice . Mine is too small so I'll get a large for my 18lb. Havanese. If anything it is overstuffed and it is NOT pointy or crinkle it is nice to have a zippered cover so just the cover can be washed. It is pet-friendly and people-friendly also. The bottom and sides are like canvas so are durable, and the zipper is fine. It is very soft. Thank you for such a quality made product.

The cover is nice and seems to be well made but, I'm disappointed with the "mattress'. It is much thinner and less dense than what I was anticipating based on other reviews. I was hoping to get something that would provide softness and support for my dog but this is lumpy and will probably flatten out pretty soon - like all her other beds!

I purchased two of these dog beds to fit in the 12" x 20-inch kennels I bought for my older small dogs who are big diggers. They destroy every bed I buy for them by scratching until all the stuffing comes out. This is the first bedding that stays nice and fluffy, wipes clean if/when there are accidents, can be thrown into the washing machine, and maintains its color after wash. (I don't throw the stuffing in the wash, just the cover.) I am so happy with these that I am going to buy another set of these for when we travel.

Cover is washable but if the dog pees nearby (I have a small senior dog) and it soaks past the cover and into the pillow itself, you cannot wash the pillow, it will disintegrate in your washer. My washer was filled with green fluff. The whole thing should be washable for a pet bed,

I am only giving this bed 3 stars because it looks nothing like the picture. I was expecting the bed to be flatter, it is a lot fluffier than expected. It’s very important to notice that the bed isn’t ergonomic at all, because it’s really fluffy but there’s no hardness to it, which is misleading based on the picture displayed by the seller. The dog will not lay flat, it’ll sink basically. If you have an older dog, or a dog that is prone to have hip problems, this probably isn’t the best option for you, as it can make their sleep very uncomfortable. The size is great and you’re able to remove the cover to wash it. However, because it isn’t as flat, I won’t be able to store it as easily as I expected - based on the picture. I will have to use this bed as a “chill bed” more than a bed meant for my dog to actually sleep.

My dog kept sliding off and eventually stopped using it. Cover is washable maybe okay for cats.
