iDesign York Bathroom Vanity Glass Apothecary Jar for Cotton Balls, Swabs, Cosmetic Pads - Short, Clear/Bronze

I absolutely love this jar. I have several items from InterDesign in the Bronze color and they all match my Kohler Bancroft fixtures very nicely (and, I am very picky). I have the Kohler K-2967 medicine cabinet and the jar fits inside it perfectly; the door closes without a problem and it looks super nice inside the mirrored cabinet. I have since ordered two more of these jars. I am uncertain as to what I will use them for, but they fit the theme of my bathroom, fit it my cabinet and match the other oil-rubbed bronze items I have. I love to have my items organized so I am sure they will not go unused. The jar came well packaged and had no imperfections. The lid sits nicely on top of the jar; it does not seal, but it fits well and looks good. From InterDesign I have the Olivia Waste Can and Soap Dish, the York Boutique Box, the Cameo Apothecary Jar and Bowl Brush and without exception I am very pleased with each item. Each item is made of a sturdy metal; they do not feel cheap or flimsy. The finish on each item is very nice and even. And, each item blends with the other; even though they are from different "families", they look great together.

Pros: Glass is clear and nice without imperfections and metal top is shiny and durable. Looks good on top of the counter Easy to access cotton balls or swabs Cons: For me not really any cons unless you count that it is glass and it will break if it falls off of your counter. Overall this product looks appropriate in my bathroom and does not look out of place. Sometimes these items can look like your are visiting your doctor if it is too big or industrial looking. This is simple and holds just the right amount of q-tips for me probably around 50-75. I recommend this product and would buy it again if it did fall on the ground and break.

Cute apothecary jar, but smaller than I expected. Sufficient for holding cotton swabs, small pieces of jewelry, or other small items. Quality materials. The lid sits loosely on top of the jar so do not expect any type of seal - therefore not recommended for any food items, seasonings, candy, etc. Overall please with the item.

Look very nice. A little small and the glass is pretty thin. Would not let anyone's kids handle this, but for the master bath, it's nice. Little pricey, but nothing else was much cheaper.

Pleased in general, however metal top is thin and not rustproof.

Adorable! Just the perfect size to sit on the vanity without crowding the soap dispenser, tissue box, etc. Heavy, good quality glass and ORB top. Top fits nicely and keeps cotton balls sterile and moisture-free.

Overall, performs well and is the perfect size for its purpose. The bronze matches our bathroom fixtures well. It has a much nicer look and feel than plastic alternatives, but the glass feels a bit fragile. No regrets though. Occasionally the whole thing tries to lift off the sink when taking the top off, so I attached some clear rubber pads on the bottom to prevent it from breaking if it drops on the hard tile. Pads also eliminate the glass sound.

Wirklich sehr schön! Das erste ging uns selbstverschuldet zu Bruch. Bei dem neuen sitzt der Deckel leider nicht so gut (der Wulst am Glasrand ist zu groß), so dass man das Glas beim Öffnen festhalten muss. Daher ein Stern Abzug. War beim 1. nicht so, vielleicht haben wir einen Produktionsfehler erwischt...

Just what I was looking for...... a simple old-fashioned "surgery" style lidded jar for the bathroom. Perfect size for cotton buds, some make-up pads and a few balls of cotton wool. Much nicer than having the bags containing said things out on display or hidden in cupboards!
