Good walking shoes

I got these DC Men’s Net Low Top Lace-Up Casual Skate Shoes for my son and he says they are true to size and extremely comfortable. They fit perfectly right out of the box with no break-in needed (my son’s a 12.5 mens). The padding around the tongue and collar provides great support, making them comfortable for all-day wear and he walks 10,000-20,000 steps a day for his job so comfy was a necessity. They also look stylish and feel durable, whether you’re skating or just wearing them casually. Overall, a great combination of comfort, fit, and style.

First of all, the delivery came quickly. The box was in good condition upon arrival without any damage. The shoes themselves arrived in perfect condition. I find the shoe laces on DCs could always be a few cm longer. They always seem a bit short, but its not a big deal. The shoe fits perfectly. Of course it starts out a little tight, but after a few days of wearing, the shoes mold to your feet shape very well and they're very comfortable. I've had 2 other pair of DCs (different design) and have always been happy with the quality. Its great to see that they're using a lot of recycled materials in the manufacturing, so they're also trying to be good for the environment. I will continue to buy DCs in the future as they've never let me down.

This is a good quality large size shoe I purchase often for my son who wears a size 14. Fits well and looks sharp!

Hesitant at first since I usually purchase wide (E) size 8.5, but went ahead and bought size 9 hoping to compensate for any narrowness. Turns out to be an excellent choice - good comfort for all toes with no cramping, decent arch support (considering I had suffered plantar fasciitis before), and great thick sole cushioning with good air circulation (no stinky socks/feet so far). I have owned them for about 45 days so far, wear them about 3 to 4 times a week to skate about one mile and then road walk about two miles total, and they have held up well with very little sign of wear on the soles. You will quickly get use to (1) the VERY fat padding of the tongue which actually feels quite comfy and adds snugness to provide more foot stability and (2) the somewhat openness of the lacing and how deep towards the front of the shoe it goes (compared to regular tennis/cross training shoes which have narrower lacing and starts a little further up) which turns out to provide more flexibility while skating. Color scheme is nice (bought the black/black/black), not loud since everything is black with only dark grey outlines of side logo and tiny logo up front. Also there is a compact, yet bubble-like look to the shoe, which trendier people may not like but I don't mind. Overall solid shoes so far, will see if things change after longer wear and also in different seasons (great for the current very cold winter).
