Convenient, serves the purpose
This product isn’t the highest quality, but it serves it’s purpose as an inexpensive and useful addition to my couch. I can recline while keeping the remote, my phone, and my snack right beside my elbow. The only small issue I didn’t expect was that the cloth covering the flat shelf wasn’t staples underneath, causing the edges to bubble up a little when placing it in. But that’s not a big deal if you just leave the piece alone and use it normally. I might staple or Velcro it tight a little later if I want to make it perfect.

Arm Chair Caddie by Miles Kimball
Everything about the Caddie is as advertised. Plenty of pockets, and the tray top keeps things from falling. Material is heavy duty to last. Only difficulty with the Caddie I found is with overstuffed arms on my recliner, every time I get out of the chair the Caddie falls off. I made a modification to alleviate that problem and still enjoy having the Caddie and all that's in it right by my side. Also the shipping was right on the money as stated.

Don't Buy
Does not fit the arm of my couch which I purchased it for. Then the wire poked through the material and scratched the leather. Husband threw the thing into the trash can outside. Not really well made. Disappointed in the product.

I would not recommend
I bought this for my brother and he could not keep it on his leather recliner which has fairly wide arms. I took it home and tried to use it on my recliner outside in our gazebo, which has a fabric cover over the recliner, and it works better but still not a great product. It's okay for holding the channel changer but not good for putting a drink on top. I would not order this again.

Avoid if you have sock armed couches, probably great for all others
I'm giving it 3 (rather than the 2 I wanted to) because I imagine it's great for the perfect sized couch arm. The problem is that I have an English couch with rounded, overhanging sock arms. I bought this based on the flexible wire grips that are supposed to fit it to many different sizes. The wire guides are the same size on both sides, inside and out. That would work great on any style of couch that has arms where the inside and out are symmetrical. The problem is that sock and pleated arm couches aren't this way. If I don't touch it, it will stay in place. If I bump it even slightly, it slides a bit, and almost always to the outside of the couch. On my couch, the inside wire grips extend down to an appropriate place. The outside extend to about a third of the way down the sock arm. Realistically, the outside wires should be about 3 times longer than the inside if they were going to clamp in the same place, and clump under the sock arm overhang. Due to this, the wires can't "clamp down" onto the arm. This could all work if the wire section wasn't stitched in place, but rather used a rotatable band - sort of like a runner's mp3-holding arm band.Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me. I gave it to my brother and it fits his couch well.

Good choice for a couch potato...
Six weeks now, it works perfectly on my couch. Plenty of pockets, some narrow for remotes and some wide for a TV guide or similar sized product. The tray on top works good for setting a sandwich or small bowel. The arms on my couch are fabric covered and about 5 inches wide, so this probably has a positive effect on the caddy's grip. The only negative is when I first opened the plastic wrapping the caddy came in, there was a strong chemical smell. It took a few days for the caddy to air out to the point of no smell.Update, Nov. 2019: Just thought I'd add after 3 years of daily use, this caddy is still hanging strong! No tearing, no fading, no loss of shape of the pockets or the tray on top. The tray constantly holds two remotes, a phone, writing pens & scrap paper, etc. The pockets are filled with other remotes, napkins, hardened lint (oops), a flashlight and other handy stuff. It has been used as a pillow and a footrest and outlived three couches now. I would by this again but at this rate, I probably won't have to replace it for a long time.

Love it, works for me!
Works perfectly for a small area where there is no room for a side table. I am able to put my drinks on the top of this without any spills. I love the pockets for the remotes. I also keep a notepad and pen in case I need to write something down real quick. It's very handy.

Really great for the price
For the price, this product is really good. It would be better if it were leather, but that costs upwards of $40. The trey on top is solid, straight and level (I was expecting poorer craftsmanship - but was pleasantly surprised). That was my main concern and it's a non-issue. The other issue I had a concern with was, is this going to slide off the arm? No, it won't. It has canvas covered metal wires (like a wire hanger) that allows you to "clamp" the tray to the arm of the chair. Protects the arm of the chair, while keeping the tray on the arm pretty well. In all, I'm very happy with the purchase.
