GoPro Wrist Housing for HERO4 Black/HERO4 Silver (GoPro Official Mount)

This dive housing works awesome! I have not had any issues using it while diving in Hawaii. I will say, when shore diving, it is super handy having it attached to my wrist while climbing in and out over lava rocks. That said, however, it is not that convenient when trying to film some critters while diving. The GoPro lens is such a wide angle that you have to be pretty close to anything if you want detail in the shot. Not really fond of sticking my arm right up to a Moray eel, or something skittish like an octopus. If that's more what you're going to use it for, I would go with the regular dive housing and a stick of some sort...Not as convenient on crawling out after a dive, but lets you get the camera closer without scaring off the sea life as much, or losing a finger. Overall though, the product itself worked flawlessly; no fog, no leaks, never fell off!

I thought it would be more comfortable, however, I think it is worth the price as the case is much more resistant that the one that came with the goPro, it also includes the Standard BacPac Backdoor which I did not expect, it is well made and it fits tightly to the wrist, I give it 4 stars because it is too wide for my wrist and it makes uncomfortable to bend it, however this is a good accesory.

This mount is Amazing! It is very stable and easy to set up. I, being a roller coaster youtuber use this a lot to film rides without the worry of dropping my camera. Great product. I also reccomend getting it on amazon because it is half the price on here. I definately recommend.

This product turned out to not be as useful as I had hoped. I've used it sporadically for three years now. I used it in the water while surfing or for getting shots of waves while not on my board. It doesn't have enough articulation to get decent angles. It's far too awkward to position while mounted on the wrist, which is what it's designed for. I would recommend the board mount for surf shots and a handheld stick for getting shots of waves while not actually riding. The one good thing about the design is that you're least likely to lose the camera from an impact and having it ripped off or rip away from you.

Bought this for a trip to Hawaii to use with my Silver 3+. Definitely the correct, official GoPro housing. Camera fits nice and snugly, latch took me a second to figure out but is easy to use and secure. This fits very securely on your wrist, so you don't have to worry about keeping track of the camera until you want to use it. Got some good, stable footage while snorkeling, and never had it come off when surfing.

bought this case just prior a scuba trip, most of my shots were pretty steady since you don't use your hands to swim in scuba some of the ascending and descending was bumpy since you have to adjust the BC and thus need to move your arm around. still worked very nicely and got rid of my problem of having a lot of air bubbles when mounted on my mask....

It works! My go pro stayed completely dry while still giving me the opportunity to take pictures and videos while playing in the ocean! Word of caution, be careful how you put it on! I didn't put it on correctly once while snorkeling and while climbing in the boat, the camera fell back and hit me in the mouth and my lip was swollen for a couple of days. So it works great, but read the instructions!

I was unable to use this due to the fact that the Gopro red filter used for diving would not fit on this unit. The red filter is used for better colors when diving more than 15 meters. Overall I am not impressed with this unit for several reasons. I would save your money unless you plan to do dives exceeding 40 meters. The standard case is good to 40 meters. As with the standard housing this unit does not have a eyelet for the lanyard of the red filter should you find one that fits. Save your money!
