Great option for mounting your phone on your bike
My wife originally received one of these for her iPhone 4s last year and I was instantly intrigued by it. So much so that when we both upgraded to iPhone 5s's this winter I went out and purchased two of these. One for each of us.The kit comes with two mounting options. There is a band which can clamp onto your handlebars to provide a mount point. Or you can mount this in place of your existing stem cap. I prefer the latter option and both of our bikes are set up this way.The mounting arm can adjust up or down in a fairly wide range. This allows you to position it to avoid obstacles like reflector brackets, cables, or stems. The mounting point can also swivel so you can keep your phone in portrait or landscape modes. Which is great if you're going to use your phone for navigation. The case is three parts. There is a plastic back with a thin film across the back. There is a tiny little plastic wedge. And, then there is the wrap over cover/screen protector. The little plastic wedge is important, it gives just enough added thickness to keep your phone from vibrating inside the case as you ride along. My wife misplaced hers for a day and it was annoying. This also gives you a little tab that you can stick out to help you extract your phone from the case. The cover seems like it covers all the ports on the phone. So a light drizzle or rain shouldn't pose a problem for your phone. If there's going to be a heavy downpour I will probably still toss my phone into a ziplock bag though. With the back of the case not being completely sealed I feel like there is a chance that spray could fly up and roll down inside the cover and then hang out near the ports on the bottom of the phone. If you're really concerned about aerodynamics then this might not be the right solution for you as it will stick up above your handlebars a bit depending on how you set it up and the angle of your stem.I personally have mine set up so that my Garmin Edge 500 is in an extended bracket centered on my stem directly in front of my handlebars and my phone is now hovering above the stem in that same line. So I can easily glance down while riding and see either easily. The main reason I give this four stars is because I haven't found a way just to buy a replacement case. Between my wife and me we now have three mounting brackets, two cases for iPhone 5/5s's, and one for an iPhone 4/4s. There's really no reason why we need three brackets for two bikes but our only option for getting a new case is to purchase a whole new kit. So I suspect in another year and a half when we go to upgrade our phones again we'll probably wind up buying two more kits and then have five brackets.

Has Potential
I just completed a 5 day 360 mile trip from Chicago's Soldier Field to Detroit's COMERICA Park and tested the entire TOPEAK Panobike family of products. I purchased this system as I am unable to read the screen of my small Garmin 800. I am able to see the IPHONE5 screen however. I removed my Garmin 800 in order to attach all Panobike products. Swapping before a big trip was a big mistake because I've lost a record of many of these miles and information. Each component of the entire package needs much refinement and I will rate each product separately. My IPHONE 5 fits securely into the Topeak Ride Case II for I-Phone 5 allowing an easy and reliable connection to the optional Quick Click Mount on your bicycle's handlebar. I was disappointed to learn that the Quick Click Mount will not attach to my Carbon Fiber handlebar stem and head-tube so I had to attached it to my handlebar. One of the reasons I purchased this system was it would free up room on my handlebar for my light, bells, etc. Though the connection between the Ride Case and Quick Click mount arm is very tight (this goes for the optional IPHONE Dry Bag as well), the rotating arm on the Quick Click Mount that allows you to turn your IPHONE sideways if desired was extremely loose and unable to be tightened. This caused my IPHONE to be rattled and shaken the entire trip. I repeatedly attempted to tighten the bolt with an allen wrench, but was unsuccessful. I don't know if this substantial jostling caused the frequent shutting down of my applications (resulting in lost data), but it couldn't have helped. This is symbolic of the entire Topeak Panobike family of products. Great ideas that were either rushed without adequate testing or a disregard for their products sustained quality. (See my other reviews)The minimalistic design of the Ride Case offers little if any additional protection for your phone. 30 minutes after completing my trip, I inadvertently dropped my IPHONE 5 from about three feet. This fall destroyed my screen. My Otter Box would have easily protected my phone from this short distance. You're assuming a lot of risk if you don't switch out between this case and something more robust like an Otter Box, but who wants to switch out with every ride. TOPEAK would be wise to develop a compromise IPHONE case that would serve both purposes. On the positive, the ride case makes for a smaller footprint in my pocket, yet now I have to replace my screen. One other warning, I went to Radio Shack to purchase a USB to Lightning recharging cord and the opening of the Ride Case would not allow the cord to be inserted. The cord is thicker than those supplied by Apple but designers at TOPEAK would be wise to accommodate all lightning cords since they don't supply us with one with their optional external battery.

Just what I was looking for
I've used this case several times now with my iPhone 5. It comes with mounts for either the handlebars or the stem, and I chose to mount it to the stem. Installation took just a minute or so and the mount seems to be very sturdy; I've never had any concern that I'd lose the phone, no matter what I bike over. I like to look down at the phone frequently to check my progress on RunKeeper or change the music and this makes that very convenient to do.Pros:- mount looks great, very low profile, with or without phone- mount easily pivots up and down for whatever viewing angle you'd like. It can also easily rotate from portrait to landscape while riding.- comes with a silicone cover for bad weather (I've personally never used the cover...I'm not on my road bike when it's raining)- phone is easy to get into and out of the case- case easily slides into and out of the bike mount- very easy installation (I mounted it on my carbon fiber stem with no issues)Cons:- power and volume buttons are difficult to push through the case- I wish you could clip the phone in without putting it in the case, although perhaps this would be less secureOverall, no hesitations recommending this case!

Perfect
After experimenting with a few different bike mounts, i've finally found the one I was looking for! This mount is very sturdy and feels well made, giving the user confidence that their phone will be secure. It's ability to be mounted into the stem is unique amongst quality bike mounts and allows perfect viewing positioning of the phone - the tilt function is also extremely useful for both viewing the phone whilst riding and for stowing away the device when not in use.The waterproof cover is simple, it will protect my phone whilst riding in the rain which is exactly what I require of it. I am able to use my headphones with the waterproof case attached but ONLY because I have made a small incision in the rubber case. For riders looking for an absolutely waterproof case, this is perhaps not the best if they wish to use headphones whilst riding. The case functions for it's purpose without making the phone too bulky or difficult to use. I had full accessibility to the screen and all buttons whilst the phone was in the case and the waterproof case. The phone case slides off the mount with relative ease, but provides a satisfying click when attaching to the mount to give the rider confidence the phone is secure. The case actually serves as a functional phone case when the device is not attached to the mount, which I found quite useful, however I prefer to use my phone with no case at all.Overall, this bike mount is extremely practical and secure, it doesn't make your phone too bulky, and is easy to assemble and use.

Robust and good quality ...
This unit is a great accessory for mounting your iPhone5 onto your bike, the phone fits well, and is easily removed. Switching between landscape and portrait view on the bike is easy, and it clicks into position securely.I've used this a lot with gpx mapping and exploring new routes. The 'weatherproof' description I found to be a little confusing, there's a plastic backing to the case, which prevents splashing up from the road very well, but there is no cover for the screen face of the phone, so if it rains, your phone is not protected.

I like it!
At first glance, the case and mount look basic and uncomplicated but it does the job exactly as intended. The kit is well made, strong and secure. It's quick and easy to remove the case and iPhone from the mount. The outer, waterproof protector can be left off whilst cycling (for a clearer view of your iPhone) if preferred - although of course you run a greater risk of damage to your smartphone if you have a tumble.

Good product
Good product, lightweight and sturdy. Easy to fit.You should be aware that you need to fit a plastic casing to your iphone before slotting it onto the bike attachment. This is a bit of a faff, although I can't think of a better way they could have done it. Waterproof cover works well too, you can still use the touchscreen through it.
