so far so good. ive had this monitor about a week now and the picture is decent for the price, its just the right size for my needs using it for a wireless cam. power supply is 12v im using a multi adapter power supply and it works just fine on the 12v setting. as long as you have a good signal it will not turn off. for the price you cant go wrong.

This versatile little color monitor is used for my portable video shoots on location. It's just what I was looking for with playback and live monitoring. The 2 video inputs gives this TV even more options. I have a small portable 12V DC Battery pack for power and packaged it all in one zipper pouch with a clear plastic window that the monitor slides in. (I removed the mount in back which easily un-snapped.)The monitor has been field tested and used several times on shoots with no issues. I caution to make sure the polarity is correct with the positive and negative power source plug.

I didn't buy these to use in a vehicle, I bought them to use as inexpensive monitors for video recording. They work fine! I also used one as a monitor for a security system, instead of always needing a computer monitor. The RCA video port works for this, no sound though. I would rate this product AAAAA+++++

I use this with a small security camera so I'm not sure if the screen stops working sometimes or if it's the camera but for the most part this little screen actually works, and you can't beat the price. One thing that you need to be aware of though is that it doesn't come with any instructions and what you need to know is that... the yellow and white RCA Input plugs are BOTH Video Inputs, the white is not audio. so when i got it, I connected both plugs and couldn't get anything to come on the screen, just when i was about to throw it in the garbage I connected just ONE and bam it worked. There's no way to switch inputs without unplugging everything and reconnecting so if you want to use 2 video inputs you'll have to plug and unplug inorder to switch between them so this screen is best used with a single video signal.

Works great, very flexible power requirements. I had to dock 1 star for a lack of power adapter options, at least a 9 volt battery adapter for testing purposes would have been nice, those are like .25 cents. Also a blue screen inclusion in the firmware telling you that signal has been lost would save a lot of people from thinking it's defective. A great hobbyist monitor but requires patience and a little savvy.

It took quite a bit of troubleshooting and time to find the supplied power cord was bad, the tiny wires of the cord were not attached to the connector properly. After replacing the connector the monitor worked fine. It appears the factory has little or no quality control or assurance for the product.

I have had t his for a while now and the picture of my vehicles in the driveway is great. But after about 3 months I developed color lines on the top of the screen and the right side but all in all if it lasted longer, it would be great. For the price, I'm going to try another one but only have it on when I'm home. Would I buy another...............Yes............ Bill K

The original place I intended to use this screen didn't pan out. I decided to hook it to up to my security camera with a constant power source. It lasted a little over one week before it stopped working.
