The media could not be loaded. This is a nice drum set for kids. The size is comfortable. It took almost 3 hours to build as someone who has never built a drum set in their life. I think this is a perfect drum set for someone who is beginning to learn how to play and want to get started, or wants something small for space reasons. It’s very sturdy and plays pretty nice. I like it and personally think it’s worth the price. The chair though is very small as it is for a toddler so I would suggest getting a more comfortable chair.

Got this as a Christmas gift for my nine-year-old nephew.. Although he is about the size of a seven-year-old (Not the one pictured on the drum set) Giving it four stars because without a basic knowledge of music and drums, it is very hard to put together & time consuming. Otherwise, I would give it five stars because the boys in our family are very hard on things and they usually break easily and it’s February, it’s still intact so far! Good quality.. I would recommend spending the extra money if your child is older than 8, because it’s on the smaller side.

To begin, I must say that I was quite surprised when opening the box. I was actually stunned regarding the quality of this set. I purchased this set for my 4 year old grandson for Christmas (he has not seen them yet). I’m 64 and have been playing percussion since I was 10. I have had numerous sets over the years and while not Pearl, they are a extremely decent set at a very reasonable price. Assembly was quite easy but time consuming. You WILL have to assemble this set. The instructions were straight forward and very easy to follow. Tuning (yep...you have to tune each drum head). Can’t wait for him to play these.

My 10 year old son played his drums for maybe two weeks and the bass drum fell to the side. I am not very picky so I thought I could go to my local guitar center and replace the part. NO... I then emailed both Ashthorpe and the email they recommended for assistance and have yet to receive a response. I just wanted a replacement piece, however now I believe I am going to just try to get a refund. " You only get what you pay for!!! " Wish me luck...
