DS687 ID Scanner with Software - Automatic Data Extraction for Age Verfication, No Subscription One Time Purchase

We bought this to replace a recently purchase piece of junk ID scanner. This one is easy to install and works exactly as needed. We have had it for over three months now and it still works well. We are using it in our medical office and scanning 20-30 IDs per day with no issues. So far this is the best ID scanner that we have had and hope it will be the last one purchased for a long time. I cannot give a rating for tech support because we haven't needed to contact them for any reason.

This scanner is great! We use them for our front office staff to scan in insurance cards and IDs, does both sides at once. Got this LIKE NEW product for 1/3 of the cost of a new one!

In this Covid 19 season this has stopped the patients from handing me their cards. I try to limit the exchange of items between myself and them. The scan is clear, fast and easy. Fits perfect on the shelf in from of my plexiglass window. Small and compact but I would highly recommend.

The scanner is so light that it moves when the scanned document cannot be ejected freely. As a result the image becomes compressed on one side.

The scanner is fine and does a good job. The software the comes with it is second-rate at best. Duplex requires their software. If you scan to pdf, it saves as both jpg and pdf, so you have to clean it up later.
