Bought this to charge a Samsung SCH-u340 prepaid phone in my vehicle. The item was received within the timeframe predicted for delivery.I used it for the first time while traveling on vacation and it worked as expected. The charging time doesn't appear to be quite as fast as when using the household charger but it's certainly adequate. The construction of the unit is good and it should hold up well. It has a power led that verifies power is being applied to the unit. Overall I am quite pleased with it, it performs the task it was designed to do and I would recommend it to others who are looking for a low cost alternative to those being sold retail at Verizon etc.

Fail
Charger did not fit the phone.Very inexpensive product, clearly produced in China. Just wasn't copied well enough.It is in the landfill now.

Very pleased with purchase. Verizon stated we couldn't obtain a charger for our phone and said we would need to update phone! We found on amazon and what a savings for us.

Sam as the home charger. Didn't fit into the cell phone!! I am hesitant at trying another one for the same reason as the home charger.Rg
